Overview

A results page on igitems can hold thousands of listings. You shape what you see with three controls: sort, quick searches, and filters. They stack. Apply any combination at once.
01

Sorting

Sorting controls how results are ordered. The sort dropdown sits at the top of the grid.

Top Picks

Default

The order you land on when you haven't chosen a sort.

Several signals combine to put listings most likely to suit you near the top.

Primary signals

  • Community rating: average score from buyer reviews
  • Personal sales in category: this seller's recent sales here
  • Asking price: how it compares to similar listings
  • Seller level: grows with each completed sale

Tiebreakers

  • Response time: faster is better, max benefit at 30 minutes
  • Delivery method: automatic delivery ranks above manual
  • Image quality: original photos outrank stock images
  • Category fit: single-game listings outrank the same listing cross-posted across multiple games

Exact weights aren't published and adjust as igitems evolves.

Listings shift as their underlying signals change. The order is live, not frozen between visits.

Category-custom sorts

Categories may add sort options like level or rank. Best paired with filters to find the strongest listing in a given price range.

These sorts apply to listing grids. The offer list inside a single currency or top-up product defaults to price ascending instead, covered in Currencies & Top-ups.

Quick Searches

Selections here are illustrative. They don't filter live listings.

Quick searches are presets shown as chips above the results grid. Each chip applies a bundle of filters, search text, or a sub-category destination in a single tap. The igitems team curates them per category, not generated from listing data.

Auto-generated price chips. When a category has enough listings with meaningful price spread, the page adds chips that split inventory into two bands (low and high). They refresh as inventory changes.

03

Filters

The filter panel narrows results to listings matching the attribute values you select. Each category exposes its own attributes, so filter panels look different from one category to the next.

Filters compose by two simple rules:

  • ORWithin a single filter: any selected value matches. With Mobile and PlayStation both checked in the panel above, the result includes listings on either platform.
  • ANDAcross different filters: all active filters must match. Layering the price range and level range filters further narrows the platform result to listings that satisfy every active rule.

The result count updates as you change selections.

Filter changes apply with a brief debounce. The result count catches up shortly after you stop adjusting.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A

How does Top Picks ranking decide listing order on igitems?

Top Picks combines four primary signals (seller community rating, recent sales in this category, asking price competitiveness, seller level) with four tiebreakers (response time, delivery method, image quality, category fit). Listings with the strongest combined score appear first.

B

Are filter and sort options the same across every category on igitems?

No. The platform team configures filters and sort options per category, so an accounts page and a skins page can offer different filter sets. The principle is the same everywhere — narrow listings without changing their order — but the available facets vary by what matters for that category.
