Mobile Legends: Bang Bang — Hero Tier List

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang — Hero Tier List

Our MLBB hero tier list for Patch 2.1.61 ranks the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang heroes by role. See which meta heroes dominate ranked games in March 2026.

Last updated:

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has well over 100 heroes to date from its extensive hero list, but while that's great for options, it also means that it's more difficult to differentiate between the right hero to win with and the wrong hero that leads to a loss. Patch 2.1.61 introduced 19 buffs and 9 nerfs that further complicated the pick. This Mobile Legends tier list breaks things down to make that choice simpler when you climb the ranks.

April 2026 Meta Snapshot

With the arrival of Patch 2.1.61, the best mages in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang received a full attribute and mana cost rebalance. Gloo caught a nerf to damage reduction stacking, down from 4% to 3%, but remains one of the best tanks. Freya's Ultimate HP regen was reduced greatly, while Pharsa took nerfs to her cooldown and burst damage, causing her to drop from S-tier.

The new hero, Marcel, arrived but needs more data before settling into a definitive ranking. The current meta rewards team composition strategies with strong initiation and crowd control abilities.

Ranking Mobile Legends' Best Heroes

We use a formula combining win rate, pick rate, and ban rate pulled from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang stats tracker and cross-referenced with official global rankings. Those stats are weighed against pro play data, team-comp flexibility, and performance across all competitive tiers.

Heroes that are limited to five-stack lobbies are penalized. If you're looking for the best Mobile Legends heroes to use, grab a ranked-ready Mobile Legends account from igitems that comes stacked with a full roster, and get to playing at a high level right away.

S-Tier: The Best MLBB Heroes Right Now

Fredrinn stands as the best fighter in the EXP lane with his taunt that forces bad trades, and his gray HP conversion ensures wins in extended 1v1s. Hayabusa remains one of the best assassins for jungle, owing to his excellent escape tools and an untargetable Ultimate that kills swiftly. These S-tier heroes deliver in almost any matchup.

Gloo remains one of the top heroes in the tank role, attaching to an enemy carry and imposing a damage share to tip the scales right away. Sora climbed to S-tier with a massive CC and high solo-kill proficiency in the EXP lane.

Angela and Floryn top the support tier list with Angela's Ult providing unreal boosts to teammates, and Floryn's global heal that supports split-push strategies. Karrie's true damage passive decimates tanks, and Yi Sun-shin combines versatile jungling with range poke and execute.

A-Tier: Strong Picks for Ranked Games

Zhuxin stands out among Mobile Legends mages in the mid-lane with displacement and executes that punishes anyone who pushes too far at half health. Guinevere still melts through softer enemies, though she requires a well-balanced team to avoid getting counter-kited in open areas.

Granger's high burst damage from the gold lane and good scaling in the late game are assets in any match. Phoveus received a late-game scaling buff in the last patch, making for a good dash-heavy counter that dooms any Fanny or Lancelot.

Diggie, Arlott, Wanwan, and Minotaur are all versatile hero options as well. For Mobile Legends diamond rates that are equally competitive, top up through igitems.

B-Tier: Solid Heroes With the Right Setup

Kupa blocks skill shots and scouts bushes, and along with Popol, these ranged heroes offer unique zone control in the gold lane. Khufra can punish dash-heavy teams, but there are many better tank options. Benedetta jungles very well, but her invincibility frames reward skilled players and severely penalize inconsistent ones. Kagura, Leomord, Ruby, Uranus, and Valir are all included in this group that works well in proper matchups, but lack carry potential.

C-Tier: Situational Picks Only

Heroes ranked in C-tier for every role need too much to win games. Lapu-Lapu has hard-hitting bursts, but is easily out-sustained in extended fights. Tigreal's CCs are great, but end up being too slow and are dodged too easily. Eudora, Franco, Moskov, and Nolan are all heroes in this tier that struggle with the current meta's focus on mobility and teamfight utility.

D-Tier: Heroes That Struggle

The best marksman heroes are expected to close gaps quickly, but Layla and Hanabi have zero mobility. Zilong and Balmond lack both crowd control and burst to compete with others in their class. You can still win with these characters, but keep them in low-tier matches and avoid the trouble.

Final Thoughts

Every patch shifts the meta, so the safest investments are S-tier tanks and top meta heroes that fit most drafts.
